To help estimate your needs and select your HelloCollege hourly essay package, students should plan on 3-5 reviews for each personal statement or longer supplemental essay (500 or more words). Shorter supplemental essays are typically reviewed at least 2 times.
With college acceptance rates more competitive than ever, our counselors and essay coaches also strongly recommend a thorough review of the activities and honor sections of your college applications. Students should plan for at least 2-3 revisions to your application before it’s ready to submit. Also note that some applications are formatted differently (Common App, ApplyTexas. University of California App, School Specific Apps) and may require additional formatting to help showcase your material in the most compelling way.
Within 24 hours of enrollment, a HelloCollege Student Success Advisor will reach out to schedule your initial essay coaching session, provide a tutorial of the editing process and get you started.
